From Air Freight Shipping of Few Boxes to Ocean Freight Shipping of Skid Pallets and/or Small Crates.
When you need to ship less than container load (LCL), you are the one who is responsible to bring your household personal goods or commercial goods to our shipping Storage. (In some state we offer paid pickup services).
Upon receiving of your belonging we will load them and get them ready to be shipped to your desired overseas destination.
When it's comes to L.C.L shipping, we usually offer only Port to Port shipping service, which means that we only deliver your shipment to the receiving overseas port. However, in some areas, to your request we could provide you with Door to Door service at your destination country.
1. Air Freight Shipping - usually for small amount of boxes, this service is faster than Ocean Freight Shipping. At the same time, it cost more. You are strongly advised to use strong and rigid double sided boxes such as dish pack china boxes or electronic boxes, which could be found in any container store. Or we could deliver boxes to your location in advance.
2. Ocean Freight Shipping - Palletizing. In case that you are shipping a lot of boxes. However, your shipment doesn't include any large furniture or big items, your goods could be palletized and would be subject to Ocean Freight Shipping.
Palletizing your shipment enables us to use forklift while loading and unloading your shipment. After you shipment has been palletized, it will be placed into metal container, which is dry and sealed.
Very important: when it's comes to palletizing you must want to use very strong boxes such as electronic boxes or china boxes (dish boxes), which are double sided and consider to be rigid boxes. All boxes must be sealed.
In addition, we will provide you with a shipping reference number (booking number) please be sure to label each box or item on two sides. In addition to the booking number you want to include your name, your new telephone number overseas and your new address.
Costs: your shipment will be palletized on one pallet and if needed we will use more than one pallet. The shipping fees are determined by the size of your shipment (cubic feet) not by its weight. The base size of the skid pallet is 40" x 42" your shipment (Boxes) would be stacked one on top of each other as many as could fit and no more than 5 feet high. And then would be wrapped with shrink wrap (plastic starch wrap), which will hold it as a group.
Remember: other skid pallets would be placed on top of your skid pallet directly on your goods. Therefore, In order to avoid crashing of your boxes under the weight, you must provide only strong boxes. You may also choose to use plastic storage bins, trunks or strong suitcases (Do Not use duffel bags especially if you are shipping fragile items)
3. Ocean Freight Shipping - Crates. Custom made crates - we also provide custom crating to various items such as: Motor bikes, ATV'S, antique furniture and medical equipment. In case that you also need to ship large furniture and/or big items (not just boxes) then your shipment must be crated. Crating is needed when you ship big commercial items or household, personal furniture (you could also ship boxes inside your crates).
Important: in order to prevent damage or scratches, all furniture must be covered with corrugated cover, crafted brown paper cover, blanket / moving pads or plastic cover (least recommended) all of your belonging would be loaded in to one or more crates, this will keep them dry secured through their long overseas trip.
